The ARS Inc. has selected Talene Nigdelian of New York to serve as an ARS intern at the United Nations. Nigdelian, who began her internship on August 9, will work at the United Nations’ Department of Economic and Social Affairs Office in the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) section.
“I’m very excited and I’m so thankful for this opportunity,” said Nigdelian upon learning of her acceptance into the ARS UN internship program. “I’ve always wanted to volunteer and intern and the UN and eventually work there in the future, and I feel this is a big step for me.”
Nigdelian will be a high school senior at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, Bayside, NY.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to this enthusiastic young woman,” said ARS, Inc. Central Executive Board Chairwoman Hasmig Derderian. “Our affiliations at the United Nations make these important internship opportunities possible.”
